The Nordic Council advises Nordic governments to use the SIN List for public procurement
05 February 2010

In late January the Nordic Council decided to recommend the governments in the Nordic countries to initiate a procurement policy on hazardous substances for public authorities. It is suggested that products containing hazardous chemicals, such as e.g. listed on the SIN-list, should not be purchased when other alternatives are available.

The Nordic Council is an intergovernmental forum for co-operation between the Nordic countries (Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Iceland).
