| Member State Committee agreed on the ECHA working list |

With an unanimous decision at the Member State Committee meeting on May 20, all seven substances selected by ECHA for Authorisation under REACH was accepted. In the same decision, demands from 6 member states claiming large exemptions for the brominated flame retardant HBCDD was rejected. In addition suggestions from ECHA adding exemptions for MDA, DEHP, DBP and BBP in paints was also rejected.
